Engineer Olugbenga Olubanjo, PEIF Fund Mentee 2016 and 2017, has received a Massey College Resident Junior Fellowship for the 2017/18 academic year at the University of Toronto. This prestigious fellowship comes in the wake of a full scholarship to study for a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the same university.
The Massey College offers a distinctive, "congenial and intellectual" opportunity for selected graduate students of "distinguished ability in all disciplines" to experience a diverse, "rich and stimulating" community.
The fellowship award comes with accommodation, a bursary for international students, social engagements and other intellectually stimulating activities. Massey College’s community includes the junior fellows, as well as distinguished senior scholars and other high ranking members of society within and beyond academia.
The College partners with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and House of Anansi Press in the annual Massey lectures.
A highly competitive award, the University had only four positions for all international applicants. One of these four went to Olu.
Huge congrats to Olu!
