Dr. Sara Ghotbi is a Senior Policy Analyst with a medical doctoral degree and a Master’s degree in public health. Sara has extensive national and international experience in the government, academic, and clinical settings. As a researcher, she has contributed to many clinical, community health, and health policy research projects, and published many articles in peer-reviewed journals. Currently, she is involved in projects that aim at improving collaborative and integrated service delivery by timely information sharing among service providers. Also, she sits on the University of Alberta's Health Research Ethics Board as a community member. This Board reviews health research projects to ensure ethical compliance. Sara has a broad interest in preventive medicine and health promotion, in particular, enhancing women’s and children’s health and wellness status in communities.
